Coming together is beginning
Keeping together is progress
Working together is success.

To begin, I extend warm wishes for a joyful and prosperous New Year 2024 to all members. After nearly two years of setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2023 emerged as a rewarding year on a broader scale. The country's economy has thrived, equity markets are experiencing significant growth and the nation stands at the pinnacle of global recognition, courtesy a stable and dedicated government. A notable highlight was the splendid hosting of the G-20, where the country spearheaded historical changes in the G-20 arena. This accomplishment reinforces the essence of the phrase 'Mera Bharat Mahan', affirming that we mean it in both spirit and reality.
This is a fitting moment to highlight the accomplishments of our organization, the 'Haryana Progressive Schools Conference’ (HPSC), during the year 2023. Led by a dedicated group of executives and thanks to the unconditional support of all our members, the collective performance of our organization has been commendable over the past several years, With a clear and shared objective guiding our association, the strength of unity has been vividly reflected in the positive outcomes we have achieved.
Reflecting on the year 2023, we take pride in the consistent commitment to delivering quality education to our students while ensuring full compliance with the regulations set forth by the government and the education department. HPSC stands out as an organization with a distinct identity, marked by its unique attributes and has remained steadfast in its mission, undeterred by challenging circumstances. Our organization has made substantial contributions to the educational landscape in Haryana and its functioning has been observed and acknowledged by the enlightened sections of society. Our legacy is a testament to our continuous efforts in spearheading initiatives that significantly influence the education landscape. Over the years, we have navigated through a series of challenges, including frequent government notifications, unstable policy guidelines and hastily implemented decisions that have resulted in administrative and functional gridlock. To seek justice and protect the interests of our members, we have found ourselves compelled to approach the courts multiple times. In these instances, we have engaged with politicians, bureaucrats and the legal system to present our case and uphold the principles that define our organization.
Despite not encountering many provisions against the best interests of schools, we consistently emphasize the importance of adhering to the frequently changing government policies while safeguarding the welfare of our students. Engaged in the noble profession of shaping the future generations of our country, we recognize the pivotal role we play. As the nation strides towards becoming a 'Vishwa Guru' (world leader), it becomes our responsibility to ensure that the educational foundation we provide aligns not only with government directives but also with the evolving times.
In preparing the citizens of tomorrow, we aim to lay a robust foundation for our country, contributing to its journey towards regaining the prestigious status of a Vishwa Guru. I trust that all members are well-versed with the New Education Policy (NEP), which has replaced its predecessor after decades. It is imperative for us to be thoroughly equipped and prepared to embrace and implement the new policy.
I have extensively discussed our achievements thus far, but I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express gratitude to some of the members who have consistently stood by me and supported HPSC whenever their assistance was needed. These individuals, laying aside their own commitments, have been unwavering in their dedication to HPSC during challenging times. I am truly blessed to name a few of these remarkable individuals, including Dr. Sumit Verma, Mr. Dipin Rao, Mr. Prashant Munjal, Mr. M.S. Sawhney, Dr. D.S. Rana, Mr. Anshul Pathania, Mr. Aniruddh Sachdeva, Mr. Vibhu Bhatnagar, Mr.Saurabh Kapoor, Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Mr. Ashish Chopra, among others.
While the collective support of all members has been instrumental, it's not feasible to name each individual who has contributed to the association's earned reputation. I take this moment to extend my gratitude to our President and mentor, Mr. S.S. Gusain, who has consistently served as the guiding force in navigating challenges. His support has been invaluable and productive in all circumstances.
'The sky is not the limit for us.' We firmly adhere to the fundamental principle that progress is not a fixed destination but a sequence of milestones we pass by while journeying on the right path. HPSC has been steadfastly advancing over the years, propelled by the unwavering efforts of its executive body. Although the executive body has exerted its best, there remain several areas where we are continuously striving for improvement. With the collective support of all members, I am confident that our determination remains unshakable, for 'Success is at its best when shared'.
Anticipating ongoing support from all association members, I extend my wishes for a highly successful year in 2024 to each one of you. Let's stand together to establish additional milestones in the field of education for future generations. Our unity is an inherent strength that propels us forward.
